JOM, Journal of Electronic Materials, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions B and electronic subscriptions to another 20 journals published by Springer are part of the TMS membership benefits.

Published monthly by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), JOM is a technical journal devoted to exploring the many aspects of materials science and engineering. JOM reports scholarly work that explores the state-of-the-art processing, fabrication, design, and application of metals, ceramics, plastics, composites, and other materials. In pursuing this goal, JOM strives to balance the interests of the laboratory and the marketplace by reporting academic, industrial, and government-sponsored work from around the world.

Written for academic and industrial audiences alike, the journal is distributed to all members of TMS as well as nonmember subscribers; as a result, more than 10,000 individual readers see the journal each monthly. Additionally, the journal reaches more than 3,000 institutions and libraries. The readership consists of scientific, engineering, and management professionals and students from the manufacturing, processing, research, and academic sectors of the international materials community.

Integrating Materials and Manufacturing Innovation (IMMI) is committed to building a seamless and dynamic engineering design framework supporting the accelerated discovery, development, and application of materials, materials systems, and materials processes for practical use in manufacturing. Combining the rigor of scholarly publication with enhanced digital content, the journal covers innovations from the discovery of materials to their deployment.

IMMI provides an Open Access platform for the presentation of novel efforts seeking to build an integrated engineering framework to solve a pervasive or recurring need in materials and manufacturing. It also provides a venue for presenting innovative approaches to overcome key technical challenges in integrating experiment, models, and data. These challenges include description and representation of complex structure, data curation, model verification and validation, and seamlessly linking models and data.
